In the final bulletin of 2020, it would be an understatement to say that this year has been a year unlike any other. In the digital world, evolving security threats and cyber criminals taking advantage of the situation continue to persist.
However, amongst the doom and gloom there is some good news. We recently launched the first UK Healthcare Dome to protect the healthcare sector, with the Government of Jersey announced as our flagship managed customer. The Dome provides a Collective Defence framework for members to collaborate and share cyber threat detections and related information in real time and at machine speed. Read the announcement here.
Coming up next month…Our annual Cyber Summit will be transformed to bring you a virtual experience. Titled ‘RETHINK: The future is different now’, January 2021 is not a restart, but a rethink. Securing the digital world needs a rethink from everyone involved to reimagine how businesses continue to operate securely from here. Those who innovate and secure their future will be the winners. Join us on Thursday 28 January and be a part of the RETHINK – register here.
In the meantime, with the Solarwinds Sunburst hack continuing to dominate headlines, if you haven’t already, we urge you to have a read of our related Threat Horizon. The report includes further information and steps for remediation. For additional insight plus a look at the longer-term impact, this write up from Ade is your next go-to. Read the article here.
As always, we are here to help. Should you need any assistance on anything cyber security related over the festive period, please get in touch.
From all at ITC Secure, best wishes for the holiday season and a very happy new year.
