ITC Secure joins the Microsoft Partner Pledge

ITC Secure joins the Microsoft Partner Pledge to drive an inclusive and sustainable digital future

ITC Secure (ITC) is proud to announce that it has signed the Microsoft Partner Pledge, a UK-wide initiative to help prepare for challenges of the future. The pledge demonstrates collective commitment by Microsoft partners to the values and priorities that drive a better future where technology improves people’s lives and creates greater opportunities for all.

Recognising the impact transformative technologies such as Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) is making on the world at large; this programme acknowledges the large-scale change associated with accelerated digital adoption and what it can mean to the world and our communities and provides a framework for collective action.

As a Microsoft Gold Partner, ITC has signed the Microsoft Partner Pledge to demonstrate its commitment to creating a more inclusive and sustainable digital future; together, the full potential of technology advancements can be realised by ensuring that everyone possesses the right skills and opportunities to make the most of these advancements.

By signing the Microsoft Partner Pledge, ITC is committing to five critical goals: digital skills, apprenticeships, diversity, responsible and ethical AI, and sustainability.

  1. Digital skills

Help the UK prepare for the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution through Microsoft’s Digital Skills programme. Additionally, the continued investment being made by ITC in its people and their learning journey in terms of training, upskilling and accreditations reflect the belief that its people are its greatest asset.

  1. Apprenticeships

Create more apprenticeship opportunities in the UK. ITC continues to promote and run its annual summer internship scheme to empower young people to build a career in technology by learning specialist skills and putting them into practice.

  1. Diversity

Drive greater inclusivity and diversity in technology roles through the Tech Talent Charter. According to Tech Nation, it is estimated that only 19% of the UK technology workforce are women. At ITC, while the gender ratio of 26% is above the industry average, this pledge aligns to ITC’s focus and commitment to continually build across all areas of diversity.

  1. Responsible and ethical AI

Ensure Artificial Intelligence is developed and implemented responsibly and ethically in line with ITC’s software development lifecycle.

  1. Sustainability

Reduce carbon footprints with a commitment to sustainability across all areas of business operations.

By sharing commitments and working together as an industry, ITC, Microsoft, and the Microsoft partner ecosystem will ensure the pivotal role technology plays in addressing broader societal challenges will be unlocked.

This aligns to ITC’s brand promise: ‘To make the digital world a safer place.’
